These records contain surveys and accompanying papers on which grants were issued through the register of the Land Office between 1779 and 1924, the secretary of the commonwealth between 1925 and 1948, and the state librarian since 1949. Supplemental papers include warrants, assignments, affidavits, and copies of county court records.
